Making an Impact
Achieve financial goals by managing the monthly and year-end closing processes for sales audits: assess variances and system discrepancies, review and authorize account reconciliations, and suggest corrective measures to relevant business partners.
Enhance accounting controls by developing and proposing policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for improvement in financial processes and lead their implementation.
Oversee the financial aspects of various projects related to sales audits, including managing system testing for new marketplace transactions and integration with third-party financial institutions to ensure accurate financial execution.
Act as the primary liaison for sales audit and sales processing protocols, providing exceptional customer service in addressing inquiries and collaborating with Finance Leadership, Retail Operations, and Data Technology.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry regulations concerning retail accounting and sales audits, including compliance with escheatment processes and PCI standards.
Team Leadership
Identify, assess, and develop internal controls and operational policies, ensuring compliance with the company's internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Enhance professional and technical expertise by participating in educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, and engaging in professional networks.
Lead the team by recruiting, onboarding, and training employees, while fostering a safe and secure environment that promotes personal growth.

Qualifications
Years of Related Professional Experience: 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for 2+ years in a leadership role.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is strongly preferred. Experience in leading an accounting team is also preferred.
Proficient understanding of systems such as Microsoft Office, SAP, and Cognos is advantageous. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
