Position Overview

Location: Central Illinois

Role: Cardiology Medical Technology Sales Representative

We are seeking a dedicated sales professional to promote a cutting-edge cardiology device within the Cardiology and Electrophysiology sectors.

Compensation: Competitive base salary of $90,000 with an additional $90,000 in commissions, totaling $180,000 at plan, with uncapped earning potential. Commissions are guaranteed for the initial nine months.

Our top performers in 2023 have achieved earnings exceeding $300,000, while the majority are consistently earning in the $200,000 range. This role also includes a monthly vehicle allowance and comprehensive health benefits, offering an elite compensation package.

Territory: Manage small territories with a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative culture. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive work environment.

This position requires a strategic sales approach rather than a transactional mindset. The company values a collaborative, people-oriented culture, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to work well within a team. We are particularly interested in professionals transitioning from surgical or procedural device sales who are eager to engage with high-level medical devices where the physician is the key decision-maker, ultimately enhancing patient care and diagnostics.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in healthcare sales with a strategic selling approach.
  • Experience in both clinic and hospital settings, navigating multiple decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with disruptive technologies is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated accomplishments and success in previous roles.
  • Experience in cardiology or electrophysiology is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to influence behavior change rather than merely selling a commodity.
