Landrum Companies, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Greater Tampa Bay area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile lists of prospective clients for use as sales leads, based on information from industry publications, databases, and trusted advisors.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to prevent miscommunications and competitive inroads.
  • Meet pre-defined goals for initial contacts, presentations, proposals, and closed contracts.
  • Track ratios of contacts to presentations, presentations to proposals, and proposals to closes.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of successful sales experience in a B2B setting.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Located in the Greater Tampa Bay area.
