Job Description

Job Summary:

Tampa Steak Company is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with business clients, identifying and qualifying leads, and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and grow relationships with existing and potential customers in the Tampa Bay area and surrounding counties.
  • Identify and Qualify Leads: Identify and qualify leads through business directories, existing clients, and market research.
  • Closing Sales: Close sales by demonstrating products, explaining product features, and soliciting orders.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering customer questions, recommending products, and resolving customer issues.
  • Monitor Market Conditions: Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate Degree and one (1) year sales work experience OR High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years sales work experience.
  • Language: Proficient in both English AND Spanish.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Organization Skills: Good organization skills – prioritize work assignments and manage work time.
  • Technical Skills: Use of computers, computer operating systems, software programs, and the Internet.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Two (2) years sales work experience in the meat industry and/or seafood industry.
