Opportunity Overview:
This position involves engaging with clients to promote Sysco's products and services while establishing and nurturing relationships with both new and existing accounts. The primary objective is to assist Sysco customers in achieving their goals while meeting the sales and profit targets set by the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts to drive profitable sales growth.
- Qualify potential clients in alignment with company account strategies.
- Analyze customer needs and develop tailored product and service offerings.
- Monitor market trends and advise clients on suitable products based on their business objectives.
- Stay informed about market conditions, product advancements, and competitor offerings to provide value-added services to clients.
- Address customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and availability.
- Deliver product information and training to client personnel.
- Utilize personal vehicle for client visits and company-related events.
- Manage accounts receivable and collaborate with the credit department as needed.
- Oversee delivery schedules and address any issues that arise during the order process.
- Participate in company events, customer visits, and promotional activities.
- Engage in ongoing training and development sessions.
- Assist in training new hires as requested.
- Review and analyze sales reports and customer data.
- Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining sales records and preparing reports.
Qualifications:
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field, or a high school diploma with three years of relevant experience in Restaurant Management, B2B sales, or outside sales.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bi-lingual candidates are preferred. Experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, or Culinary roles is advantageous.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and current automobile insurance meeting specified liability limits.
Professional Skills:
- Proficient in basic PC skills and MS Office applications.
