Strategic Partnership Manager

Imec USA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Partnership Manager to join our US Sales and Business Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and expanding strategic relationships within the automotive and semiconductor industries across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and grow revenue with existing and new R&D partners to achieve Imec's business objectives.
- Manage partner relationships, identify key decision-makers, build and maintain strong relationships across all levels, assess partner satisfaction and value perception.
- Develop negotiation plans and close complex agreements in collaboration with internal business teams.
- Grow Imec's Automotive Sector revenue, including Automotive Chiplet Program, Sensor Technology, and Power Electronics development projects in collaboration with internal business and technical teams.
- Expand Imec's footprint in the North America for automotive and semiconductor related industries across the value chain.
- Implement and deploy account strategy: understand partner strategy and its implications for Imec, market dynamics, technology roadmap, and competitors, grow revenue by identifying and pursuing new opportunities.
- Manage CRM: prepare meeting plans, record meeting minutes, update the sales funnel.
- Evaluate opportunities and present recommendations to management and business teams.
- Gather market information and trends and keep the organization updated on competition.
- Support marketing efforts by coordinating and attending customer meetings, participating in conferences, and engaging with industry networking groups.
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience or proven track record in business and partnership development in research and/or system development in the semiconductor or automotive sectors (chiplet, ADAS, radar, lidar, sensor fusion, and power electronics), with a strong network in automotive and semiconductor sectors.
- Hold a degree in material science, electronics, engineering, or equivalent degree combined with strong interest in semiconductor technology.
- Self-motivated, pro-active, and take initiatives to engage with key stakeholders at the executive level and relevant companies.
- Distinguishable problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication and networking skills.
- Exceptional listening skills, and a proven track record building personal customer relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
- Comfortable and flexible working with international teams, including managing early-morning conference calls with Europe.
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
- Eligible to work in the US.
