Job Title: Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to spearhead the growth of our cutting-edge AI-optimized scheduling and forecasting platform within the fast-food and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. As a Business Development Director, you will identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and cultivate long-lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and implement a robust business development strategy to drive LIFELENZ adoption and revenue growth within the QSR industry.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities through strategic lead generation, comprehensive market research, and effective networking with industry leaders.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, while conducting thorough analyses of client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to tailor sales strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations and successfully close deals that align with revenue and growth objectives.
  • Work closely with teams across product development, marketing, and customer success to enhance customer satisfaction and drive product improvements.
  • Clearly articulate LIFELENZ's value proposition through compelling proposals, presentations, and demos. Represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows to boost brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, industry regulations, and competitive movements to uncover potential opportunities and anticipate risks.
  • Provide senior management with accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance insights.
  • Partner with internal technology and insights experts to offer data-driven guidance and insights to clients.
  • Collaborate with implementation and partner development teams throughout the sales lifecycle, especially in account/partner development, solutions engineering, and implementation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven success in business development within the fast-food or QSR industry, particularly in technology or SaaS solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of the unique challenges, trends, and competitive dynamics within the QSR sector, with experience in leveraging IT solutions to solve complex business problems.
  • A well-established network of relationships with key industry decision-makers and executives.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with the talent to explain complex products to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying, pursuing, and closing complex deals with fast-food and QSR clients.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, spot growth opportunities, and develop actionable sales strategies.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles (over 6 months) and excelling in consultative sales roles with a focus on quality lead targeting rather than high-volume cold calling.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the agility to handle objections, rejection, and ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce functions and dashboards, and experience with prospecting tools like.
  • Exceptional email communication skills for managing and operationalizing large-scale projects across multiple teams.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for sales meetings, client presentations, and other business engagements.
