Position Overview

At Oakwood Village University Woods Homes, Inc., we take pride in providing exceptional care to our residents. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Evening Certified Nursing Assistants. This role is essential in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents during the evening hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls and ensure their needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional health to the supervising nurse.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Support residents in their rehabilitation efforts by following prescribed therapeutic exercises and mobility plans.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any observed changes in residents' conditions.
Qualifications
  • Certification as a nursing assistant from an accredited program, with current registration.
  • Basic education required; high school diploma preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and apply best practices in geriatric care.
  • Strong observational skills to identify changes in residents' health status.
