About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care services, including morning and evening care, as well as assistance with daily living activities.
  • Prepare patients for meals, serve and remove food trays, and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Answer patient call lights, anticipate patient needs, and make rounds to assigned patients.
  • Assist patients with handling personal property, such as dentures, glasses, and hearing aids.
  • Report and record any changes observed in patient condition or behavior, and unusual incidents.
  • Assist licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures.
Requirements
  • Completion of a course for nursing assistants.
  • Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
  • CPR/BCLS Certification.
  • Minimum six months experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
