Position Overview

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Evening Shift

Competitive Starting Pay: $17/hour Based on Experience

Since 1962, Bethel Lutheran Home has been dedicated to providing exceptional care to seniors in our community. We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and address the needs of residents effectively.
  • Assist with the safe lifting, turning, moving, and positioning of residents as well as their transportation in and out of beds, chairs, baths, and lifts.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, including obtaining and documenting vital signs, bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Communicate any care-related issues to the supervising nurse.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Must possess a current and valid CNA certification in South Dakota.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to the care of the elderly population.
  • Exhibits a proactive attitude and high motivation.
