Job Summary

The Resident Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant will provide personal care and support services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care and Support
    • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal laundry.
    • Provide health services to residents, including medication distribution and prescribed treatments.
    • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid treatment as needed.
  • Health and Wellness
    • Assist in providing and performing activities to small and large groups of residents.
    • Transport residents within the Oakwood campus and arrange for medical appointments and transportation as needed.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
    • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
Requirements
  • Completion of state-certified CNA course preferred.
  • Completion of required CBRF and Oakwood training within time frames dictated by state regulation and Oakwood policy required.
  • Prior experience in working with elderly in an assisted living environment is required.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate starting at $19.50/HR or more for experienced CNA/RA's.
  • Shift differentials for PM & NOC, and weekend.
  • Insurance and Paid Time Off offered for staff working 37.5hrs or more every two weeks.
