Position Summary:
This role involves overseeing all aspects of Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk Management Plan (RMP), and CAA 608 programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and the reliability of industrial refrigeration systems, particularly ammonia and other cooling processes across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure compliance with PSM, RMP, and CAA 608 programs.
  • Conduct thorough gap analyses and prepare compliance documentation.
  • Facilitate meetings and participate in Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and PSM audits.
  • Provide training to Foster Farms personnel to maintain competency in safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to uphold safety standards.
  • Ensure adherence to Corporate Safety and Risk Management policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in industrial refrigeration, with a focus on ammonia systems.
  • Possession of a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certification from the Refrigeration Engineers Technician Association (RETA) is preferred.
  • OSHA Certification is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
  • Strong understanding of P&ID's and technical specifications related to ammonia refrigeration.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
