Land Acquisition Specialist

Universal Field Services, Inc. is a leading provider of acquisition services in the United States. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team.
Job SummaryThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and communication skills. As a Land Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for acquiring properties on behalf of our clients, working closely with landowners and other stakeholders to ensure successful transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret right-of-way parcel maps, plans, and construction drawings to identify potential issues and opportunities.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of real estate law and terminology, including Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970.
- Use knowledge of appraisal theory, appraisal processes, and property values to determine fair market prices for acquired properties.
- Evaluate surface ownership and resolve encumbrances on title to ensure clear ownership of acquired properties.
- Bid and negotiate agreements, contracts, and documents to secure necessary permissions for property acquisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of all contacts made with landowners and their representatives.
