Job Summary

The Branch Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Branch within the Bank's Financial Services Center, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service and achievement of business objectives. This role requires a professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train a team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the Branch, including financial transactions, account opening and servicing, and commercial loan customer support.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to branch activities and transaction processing.
  • Assist customers with the use of deposit account opening and online banking applications.
  • Prepare and maintain account paperwork, including signature cards and loan documents.
  • Lead the Branch Staff, including building a cohesive team and providing training and guidance as needed.
  • Monitor supply levels and manage supply organization throughout the Financial Services Center.
  • Maintain current knowledge and compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and all banking regulations.
  • Provide efficient and courteous customer service, researching problems and implementing appropriate resolution.
  • Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities to deepen customer banking relationships.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Branch Manager will be responsible for the supervision of one or more employee(s). The incumbent is required to provide leadership, training, and guidance to less experienced personnel, and is expected to fulfill supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Bank's policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

Experience: Three to five years of similar or related experience

Interpersonal Skills: This position involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Networking and fostering sound relationships with other entities is necessary, and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
