Position Overview

We are seeking a Support Specialist to play a crucial role in facilitating high-volume retail hiring within NIKE, Inc. The EVOLVE team is instrumental in recruiting for our retail locations across North America. Our Specialists excel in prioritizing tasks, working autonomously, solving challenges, and communicating effectively while maintaining focus on objectives amidst competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for all hiring needs for designated stores throughout the recruitment process, ensuring clear communication with store leaders.
  • Oversee job postings, screen applicants to schedule interviews, request background checks, and finalize offer details.
  • Address escalated inquiries from store leaders and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues.
  • Update and distribute training materials for both the EVOLVE team and Nike, Inc. stores, while completing additional project tasks as assigned by the team manager.

Collaborative Environment

The EVOLVE team collaborates with various HR support functions, retail operations, talent attraction, and HR retail partners. Together, we support over 300 retail locations across Nike and Converse in North America. You will be responsible for 30-40 stores, working closely with managers, district leaders, and HR partners to deliver exceptional service throughout the retail hiring process. Additionally, you will provide training to new store leaders and educate them on process updates.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, with a strong preference for retail management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and deliver presentations to various leaders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to maintain focus and produce accurate results while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new applications.
