Job Summary

SGI Global, LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to provide clerical and administrative services in support of the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) fact witness management process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct assistance to USAO Victim-Witness personnel, AUSAs, legal assistants, administrative staff, and other USAO personnel in ensuring the smooth operation of the fact witness management process.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, appearance dates, and times for fact witnesses, utilizing judgment to determine when the AUSA should be notified of special circumstances or needs.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for fact witness reimbursement, including witness vouchers and other required documentation.
  • Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases related to fact witness management.
  • Perform general office procedures, including answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative information and assistance.
  • Travel to other offices in the District as needed to provide trial/grand jury assistance and attend training.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required, undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to review and analyze data and information from multiple sources.
  • Ability to establish case/project files and enter/retrieve data from databases.
  • Ability to prepare and format management reports.
  • Ability to manipulate, transfer, compute, and print information.
  • Ability to prepare and correct reports and correspondence using word processing software.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a background investigation required.
