Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team at StateJobsNY. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, including use of office software, provision of customer service, business writing, and office administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our office, including use of office software, provision of customer service, business writing, and office administration.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of administrative procedures and policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in administrative support, which includes use of office software, provision of customer service, business writing, and/or office administration.
  • Certification (e.g., IAAP Certified Administrative Professional) or associate degree in office administration, secretarial science, administrative assistance, paralegal, business technology, or office technology substitutes for two years of experience.
  • Ability to pass a keyboarding test that demonstrates the ability to enter text at a rate of at least 30 words per minute with at least 96% accuracy.
