Job Overview:

  • The Director of Human Resources will lead a team of four direct reports, overseeing the HR function across five locations in the United States.
  • This senior-level HR leadership position is responsible for managing personnel records and compliance, onboarding and training, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, organization development, training, and special projects.
  • The successful candidate will partner with Operations and Corporate Leadership on strategic HR initiatives, including recruitment, engagement, and retention strategy, employee recognition, and talent development programs.
  • This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with 8-10 years of human resource management experience and experience in a warehouse/distribution or manufacturing workforce.
  • Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage personnel records and compliance
  • Oversee onboarding and training programs
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies
  • Manage performance management and compensation programs
  • Administer benefits and organization development initiatives
  • Process STD, LTD, FMLA, and Workers Compensation claims
  • Provide reporting on HR KPIs, including retention and turnover rates
