Human Resources Leadership Position

Premium Guard Inc. (PGI) is a leading provider of aftermarket automotive filtration and ancillary solutions for professional auto service providers.
Job Overview:
- The Director of Human Resources will lead a team of four direct reports, overseeing the HR function across five locations in the United States.
- This senior-level HR leadership position is responsible for managing personnel records and compliance, onboarding and training, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, organization development, training, and special projects.
- The successful candidate will partner with Operations and Corporate Leadership on strategic HR initiatives, including recruitment, engagement, and retention strategy, employee recognition, and talent development programs.
- This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with 8-10 years of human resource management experience and experience in a warehouse/distribution or manufacturing workforce.
- Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP are also desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage personnel records and compliance
- Oversee onboarding and training programs
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies
- Manage performance management and compensation programs
- Administer benefits and organization development initiatives
- Process STD, LTD, FMLA, and Workers Compensation claims
- Provide reporting on HR KPIs, including retention and turnover rates
Requirements:

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
