Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Operations Coordinator to join our team at Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences, efficient operations, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Ensure efficient guest registration, checkout, and telephone service, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Management: Implement company and franchise programs, prepare forecasts and reports, and assist in the development of the Rooms Division budget.
  • Team Leadership: Provide training and development opportunities for entry-level associates and supervisors, and ensure timely completion of performance appraisals.
  • Customer Relations: Interact positively with customers, resolve problems, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with front office, guest service, and PBX standard operating procedures and policies, and maintain all front desk-related equipment and supplies.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other hotel departments to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of front desk experience, with a strong background in hotel operations and customer service.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Proficient with PMS system, computer literacy, and advanced knowledge of brands' reward programs.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to handle cash and credit transactions, maintain a professional appearance and manner, and effectively deal with internal and external customers.
