Job Title: On-Call Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused On-Call Front Desk Agent to join our team at HEI Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming smile, ensuring a positive first impression of our hotel.
  • Process guest arrivals and departures efficiently, handling check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide personalized service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage guest room assignments, ensuring that guests are accommodated in the room type they have requested.
  • Process payments and handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management, using clear and concise language to resolve issues and provide information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are readily available.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you are equipped to provide exceptional guest service.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Previous hotel experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment accurately.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, move throughout the front office, and perform essential job functions with minimal breaks.
