About the Role

At OrthoCarolina, we are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Specialist to join our team at our Concord office location. As a Patient Services Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of patient claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and prepare forms for their visit
  • Collect, verify, and enter patient information into EPIC
  • Prepare paperwork necessary for the patient visit
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls, make appointments, and perform Cashier duties as directed
  • Follow the process for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion as requested

Education and Experience

We are seeking a high school graduate or associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of one year experience in a medical clinic setting is preferred. Good customer and computer skills, and working knowledge of insurance are required. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
