VetJobs is in search of a Lead Military Training Facilitator (LMTF) to enhance our educational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
The selected individual will be responsible for delivering effective instruction in both classroom and practical training environments, utilizing established curricula as well as innovative teaching methods.
As a military training facilitator, the candidate must exhibit proven instructional capabilities in military exercises and be prepared to instruct in diverse settings for extended durations during training sessions.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Essential Qualifications
Requirements
Must have served as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army, either in the Active Component or as a former or current officer in the U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard.
Permanent support requires a minimum of six years of prior military experience in Active or Reserve Components.
Temporary support necessitates at least four years of military experience, with six years preferred.
Experience must be recent (within the last five years) and concluded with an honorable discharge or retirement.
Meet the academic institution's criteria for instructor roles.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of the Army's organizational structure, mission goals, functions, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Demonstrate expertise in military training and evaluation processes.
Have proficiency in fundamental Soldier skills, including map reading, land navigation, marksmanship, and drill procedures.
Exhibit knowledge of safety protocols regarding small arms and ammunition.
Possess computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general IT skills.
Effectively teach in both classroom and field settings, utilizing standardized and creative instructional methods.
Must have a demonstrated ability to instruct in military field training exercises and adapt to field environments for extended periods.
Candidate will undergo background checks for Positions of Significant Trust and Authority (POSTA) and may be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
