Training Director

Company Overview: Subway - 30209-0 is a dynamic and rapidly growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) company committed to providing exceptional customer experiences and delicious food offerings. With our expanding footprint, we are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as the QSR Director of Training. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and execution of comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and performance of our team members across all levels.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement onboarding programs for new team members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles and foster a positive work environment.
• Design and execute long-term development strategies to support the growth and career progression of team members, including leadership development initiatives.
• Lead the training efforts for marketing rollouts, ensuring team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively promote and execute new menu items, promotions, and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for skill enhancement and create training modules to address gaps in performance or areas for improvement.
• Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms to track training effectiveness, employee progress, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, and Human Resources, to align training initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
• Conduct customer experience training programs to ensure that team members deliver exceptional service and create memorable experiences for our guests.
• Lead team-wide meetings and workshops to communicate updates, share best practices, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications:
• Hospitality Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within the QSR industry.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful training programs that drive results and improve employee performance.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training evaluation methods.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing a team of trainers or training coordinators.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
