Position Overview


The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Coordinator will be instrumental in facilitating OCM initiatives, ensuring that objectives are achieved efficiently and within budget by enhancing employee engagement and utilization.

This role emphasizes the human aspect of change, encompassing shifts in behaviors, business processes, systems, and technology. The incumbent will oversee OCM services, including planning, execution, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehend the change management framework and tools to devise strategies for the adoption of necessary changes stemming from projects or initiatives.
  • Assist in change management efforts under the guidance of a Change Management Lead.
  • Maintain and track OCM project plan activities.
  • Gather and report on OCM project milestones, KPIs, and essential activities aligned with team deliverables.
  • Develop OCM overview summaries and status reports for leadership updates.
  • Support the design, development, delivery, and coordination of communication strategies for key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to impact assessments, evaluate change readiness, and identify critical stakeholders.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of training programs.
  • Provide input and support to the OCM team in formulating recommendations and defining approaches.
  • Coordinate and assist in the completion of project deliverables, including communication strategies, training plans, impact assessments, and stakeholder management plans.
  • Collaborate with other OCM professionals and support resources.

Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of the change process and how individuals navigate change.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management or project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other collaborative tools.
  • Understanding of automotive and technology business dynamics, along with organizational challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in communications within a technology-focused environment is an asset.
  • Change management certification or designation is desirable.
  • Adaptable and flexible, capable of thriving in ambiguous situations.
  • Organized with a natural inclination for strategic planning and execution.
