Role Overview
The Organizational Change Management Specialist will be instrumental in facilitating OCM initiatives, ensuring that project objectives are achieved efficiently and within budget by enhancing employee engagement and utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehend the change management framework and tools to advocate for the adoption of necessary project changes.
- Assist in change management initiatives under the guidance of a Change Management Lead.
- Oversee and track OCM project plan activities.
- Gather and present data on OCM project milestones, KPIs, and essential activities aligned with team deliverables.
- Develop OCM overview summaries and status reports for leadership updates.
- Support the design, development, delivery, and coordination of communication strategies for key stakeholders.
- Contribute to impact assessments, evaluate change readiness, and identify significant stakeholders.
- Assist in the design and implementation of training programs.
- Provide insights and support to the OCM team in formulating recommendations and defining strategies.
- Coordinate and facilitate the completion of project deliverables, including communication strategies, training plans, impact assessments, and stakeholder management plans.
- Collaborate with other OCM professionals and support personnel.
Candidate Profile
- Degree or diploma from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of the change process and how individuals navigate change.
- Experience and knowledge of change management or project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other collaborative tools.
- Understanding of automotive and technology business dynamics and organizational challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in communications within a technology context is an asset.
- Change management certification or designation is desirable.
- Adaptable and flexible; capable of thriving in uncertain environments.
- Organized with a natural aptitude for strategic planning and execution.
