Key Responsibilities
  • HR Program Administration: Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • HR Knowledge and Expertise: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Team Leadership: May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department. Oversee and/or assist in the administration of workers comp, FMLA, ADA, and COBRA, 401(k), health and welfare benefits. May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Requirements
  • HRIS Proficiency: Proficiency and experience with HRIS or the ability to quickly learn company HRIS.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Integrity and Confidentiality: Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Willingness to blend management functions with hands-on tasks.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. At least 3 years of human resource management and HRIS experience preferred.
