A keen eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, and adherence to regulatory standards are essential for success in this role.
Compensation:$15 - $20/hr
Key Responsibilities:- Assess mortgage applications for thoroughness and precision
- Gather and systematize necessary documentation
- Authenticate applicant details, including employment, income, and credit profiles
- Engage with loan officers and underwriters
- Guarantee compliance with industry standards and organizational policies
- Oversee timelines to ensure processing deadlines are met
- Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries
- Address discrepancies and challenges during the application process
- Conduct quality assurance checks on loan documentation
- Calculate debt-to-income ratios and assess loan eligibility
- Prepare loan documentation for underwriting assessment
- Stay informed about current lending guidelines and regulations
- Update borrowers on the status of their loan applications
- Manage the distribution of documents, including HOI/Payoffs, Appraisals, and Pest reports
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in mortgage processing
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting procedures, and regulations
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
