Position Overview


The Organizational Change Management Specialist will be instrumental in facilitating OCM initiatives to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively, enhancing employee engagement and utilization.

This role emphasizes the human aspect of change, encompassing modifications to behaviors, operational processes, systems, and technologies. The individual will oversee OCM services, including strategic planning, execution, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehend the change management framework and tools to devise strategies for the successful adoption of project-related changes.
  • Assist in change management initiatives under the guidance of a Change Management Lead.
  • Track and manage OCM project plan activities.
  • Gather and present data on OCM project milestones, KPIs, and essential activities in relation to team deliverables.
  • Develop OCM overview summaries and status reports for leadership briefings.
  • Support the creation, development, and dissemination of communication strategies for key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to impact assessments, evaluate change readiness, and identify crucial stakeholders.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of training programs.
  • Provide insights and support to the OCM team in formulating recommendations and strategies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the completion of project deliverables, including communication plans, training strategies, impact assessments, and stakeholder management plans.
  • Collaborate with other OCM professionals and support personnel.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Possession of a diploma or degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • A foundational understanding of the change process and how individuals navigate change.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management or project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other collaborative tools.
  • Understanding of the automotive and technology sectors, along with awareness of organizational challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in communications within a technology-driven environment is an asset.
  • Change management certification or designation is desirable.
  • Adaptable and flexible, capable of thriving in uncertain situations.
  • Organized with a natural aptitude for strategic planning and execution.
