Guest Services Representative

Overview

The Guest Services Representative is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, issuing room keys, addressing inquiries, and fulfilling guest requests while adhering to safety and efficiency standards as per established policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate guest check-ins and room assignments in accordance with the hotel's pricing structures, promotional offers, and upselling techniques. Accommodate special requests whenever feasible.
  2. Handle check-in/check-out processes and manage payments in alignment with cash handling, credit card processing, and accounting protocols.
  3. Respond to questions regarding hotel amenities, events, directions, and local attractions. Assist guests with services such as check cashing, safety deposit boxes, additional room keys, and transportation arrangements.
  4. Professionally escort guests as needed, ensuring compliance with established policies and brand standards.
  5. Pre-register guests, manage reservation blocks, and take both same-day and future bookings as required. Process cancellations according to hotel policies.
  6. Engage in special projects and additional duties as assigned. Participate in committees and task forces as requested.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
