Overview
The Guest Services Representative is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, issuing room keys, and addressing inquiries and requests in accordance with established policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate guest check-ins and room assignments while adhering to the hotel's pricing structures and promotional strategies.
- Handle special requests from guests whenever feasible.
- Process payments during check-in/check-out while ensuring compliance with cash handling and credit card processing protocols.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel amenities, events, local attractions, and directions.
- Assist guests with various needs, including check cashing, safety deposit boxes, additional room keys, and transportation arrangements.
- In instances where necessary, escort guests in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
- Pre-register guests, manage reservations, and cancel bookings as per established guidelines.
- Engage in special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned, and participate in committees as needed.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
