Job Title: Display Coordinator/Office Assistant

At Havertys, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Display Coordinator/Office Assistant to join our team. This role will be responsible for maintaining the showroom's display standards, processing customer sales, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain display standards of the showroom in accordance with Corporate Display Standards.
  • Process customer sales and payment transactions accurately.
  • Answer phones, schedule deliveries, and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Coordinate and display accessories and accent pieces based on Corporate Display Standards.
  • Complete the Display Coordinator Weekly Checklist and review with the Display Manager and/or General Manager.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
  • One to three years of monetary or cash handling experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong math skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to multi-task are essential.
Work Environment:

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 60 pounds. Candidates must successfully complete a physical assessment to be considered for the position.
