Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Component Engineer to join our team at ARKA Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in High Reliability, Military, or Space Level EEEE Component Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, define, and implement Component Engineering Processes to ensure design integrity and hardware robustness in alignment with customer expectations.
  • Execute and create processes and procedures for EEEE component selection, specification generation, procurement, part screening/qualification, and data review/inspections.
  • Support Radiation Transport/Characterization Analysis and implement Radiation Test Plans on Components.
  • Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including supplier quality manuals and company quality records.
  • Create presentations and participate in customer meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Engineer in High Reliability, Military, or Space Flight Environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of EEEE device types, construction, operation, and failure analysis.
  • Experience working with U.S. Government Department of Defense or other highly regulated industries.
  • Understanding of radiation survivability (TID, DDD, SEE) of electronic devices in space environments.
  • Knowledge of Government, Industry specs, and standards (MIL-STD-1547, NASA INST-002, DLA).
  • Strong project leadership, presentation, and decision-making skills.
