We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer - RF Specialist to join our team at Amphenol RF. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance transmission lines and connector components using advanced 3D CAD models and RF design concepts.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop 3D CAD models and draft connector components and assemblies using Pro-E/CREO software.
- Perform tolerance studies and analyze mechanical requirements using FEA as required.
- Apply RF design concepts to design high-performance transmission lines and work with the RF Engineer to validate and optimize RF performance.
- Process Engineering Change Orders and New Product Releases.
- Perform and document electrical and mechanical testing of prototypes.
- Maintain organized project files and communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments as part of a cross-functional team.
- Ability to travel when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with Three (3) to five (5) years related experience.
- Strong understanding of RF design concepts and 3D CAD modeling.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
