Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Order Fulfillment Coordinator is to oversee the order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer requirements are met with utmost satisfaction. This role serves as the second tier of customer service, addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate personnel when necessary. Common inquiries include order status, product details, account information, and quotes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently implement and manage the order fulfillment process to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize ERP-CRM software to input quotes and customer orders, maintaining accurate records and updates.
  • Proactively follow up on quotes to identify opportunities for securing customer business.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries and quote requests, ensuring thorough follow-up on potential growth opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs and communicate them effectively to our production team.
  • Collaborate with the Production Department to obtain precise job cost estimates and monitor job cost performance.
  • Manage customer inventory requirements through the Purchase Requisition Process.
  • Assist with customer complaints through RMA's, NCM's, and DDB Red Cards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and address their needs.
  • Ability to enhance company procedures for efficient order fulfillment using our software systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Windows-based applications.
  • Detail-oriented with basic to intermediate math skills.
  • A college degree in business or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience in interpreting technical drawings is a plus.

Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma with strong reading, communication, math, and problem-solving skills, along with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong mathematical abilities and attention to detail.

Physical and Work Environment:

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers regularly. The work environment is typical of an office setting, with occasional exposure to the manufacturing floor. Noise levels are generally quiet.
