Position Overview


The Regional Sales Executive is tasked with driving the sales and marketing of Hubbell products through distribution channels to end-users and key influencers, aiming to meet designated sales targets within the assigned region.

The designated area encompasses Northern California, including the greater Fresno, Bakersfield, and Central Valley regions.

Daily Responsibilities


Oversee the assigned region to ensure optimal, effective, and efficient utilization of time and company resources to achieve sales goals.


  • Execute sales visits to distributors and potential customers of Hubbell products.
  • Educate distributor staff on selling and promoting Hubbell products; manage distributor inventory to ensure adequate stock levels to serve the market and maximize returns.
  • Maintain precise account records using the TMS/Electronic TMS system.
  • Facilitate sales training sessions, both internal and external, as directed by management.
  • Deliver formal sales presentations to various audiences, including distributors and end-users. Engage with diverse end-users through multiple communication methods, including letters, phone calls, small group meetings, and trade shows.
  • Report to the District Manager regarding any challenges, opportunities, successes, and updates on new products.
  • Provide service to distributors and end-users while generating demand for the company's product range.
  • Foster strong relationships with distributors, end-users, and key influencers.
  • Keep the District Manager informed about new products, modifications, and sales tools.
  • Address open territories as assigned by the District Manager.
  • Act as a resource for customers seeking literature, catalogs, technical details, and cross-reference information.
Compensation

The expected salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.


Qualifications for Success
  • A college degree is required, along with five or more years of relevant industry sales experience, or a high school diploma with seven or more years of related experience.
  • Experience in contractor sales is advantageous.
  • Relevant industry experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary.
