Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Sterling Energy Plc. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure the effective operation of our municipal services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our municipal services, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Office Management: Maintain office files, take and distribute minutes at meetings, and coordinate repairs to office equipment.
  • Communication: Type correspondence, reports, and other documents, and answer telephones and transfer calls to the appropriate staff member.
  • Client Services: Meet and greet clients and visitors, and provide general clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems, and sign for and distribute packages.
  • Procurement: Research, price, and purchase office furniture and supplies, and coordinate and maintain records for staff office space, phones, parking, company credit cards, and office keys.
  • Meetings and Events: Setup and coordinate meetings and conferences, and maintain and distribute staff weekly schedules.
  • IT Support: Collect and maintain PC inventory, and support staff in assigned project-based work.
  • Onboarding: Provide office orientation for new employees.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
