Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support to the Director of the Mental Health Task Force with the LA Best Babies Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing correspondence, documents, and presentation materials, as well as maintaining calendars, managing logistics, and coordinating meetings and trainings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute meeting notes and materials to the LA Best Babies Network Department within 10 business days of the meeting.
  • Maintain and update contact information for all LA Best Babies Network Staff.
  • Coordinate with the Manager of Operations and Grants to request requisitions for purchase orders and track program material orders.
  • Exercise judgment to ensure confidentiality of written materials, telephone calls, and other communication.
  • Coordinate with other LABBN Teams to ensure timely completion of work and provide administrative support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience providing administrative documentation, managing meeting logistics, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • One to two years of related work experience and/or training required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CA Driver's License.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, journals, policies, procedures, and/or regulations.
  • Ability to write and/or format routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
