Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled Virtual Infrastructure Solutions Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our enterprise data center operations, which encompass over 3000 Virtual Machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and sustain VMware-based infrastructure, addressing and resolving storage-related issues.
  • Manage daily data operations and provide support for distributed data systems, overseeing the entire data lifecycle including planning, preparation, testing, placement, backup, recovery, and deletion.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols, capacity planning, performance metrics, and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth expertise in VMware technologies.
  • Experience with hyper-converged systems, including Dell, EMC, and VXRail.
  • Advanced knowledge of VSAN.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience, coupled with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the industry.

Work Environment:

This position operates within a professional office setting characterized by a low to moderate noise level. The role involves routine use of standard office equipment such as computers and telecommunication devices. The incumbent will engage in various physical activities, including standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
