POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Infrastructure Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering operational and maintenance support for critical network systems, ensuring optimal performance for a diverse user base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver operational and maintenance support for specialized access system infrastructure catering to a significant number of users.
  • Manage and maintain printing infrastructure, including secure print solutions.
  • Design, implement, and oversee Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for various client types and server virtualization technologies.
  • Administer SQL Database infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Support server and desktop-based software applications through effective operational management.
  • Facilitate data backup and recovery processes for various network systems.

  • Assist in the replication of network file share volumes utilizing Distributed File System with Replication (DFS-R) across multiple locations.
  • Provide expertise in storage area network (SAN) management and encrypted file storage solutions.
  • Create and maintain standalone workstation images in compliance with security standards.
  • Execute systems recovery and repair operations, applying industry best practices for troubleshooting and fault isolation.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Possess an active Top Secret w/SCI Clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience (7 years preferred); experience with data encryption solutions is a plus.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Microsoft System Administration within an enterprise environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, and Visual Basic Scripting.
  • At least 4 years of experience leading similar-sized projects.

Additionally, candidates should have:

  • 4+ years of experience in the following IT areas:
  • Security configuration of Windows Server/Windows 10.
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM or comparable technologies.
  • Maintenance of PKI Infrastructure.
  • Implementation and management of VDI Infrastructure.
  • Server Virtualization Technologies.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must hold IAT Level II certifications, including:

  • VCP and MCSE Core Infrastructure Certifications.
