Key Responsibilities:

We are in search of a visionary brand strategist who can inspire clients and internal teams to enhance strategic outcomes, challenge conventional thinking, and redefine projects into innovative propositions that foster distinctive brand experiences. The ideal candidate will serve as a catalyst for brand advancement and develop creative strategies to engage consumers effectively.

In this role, you will spearhead new business initiatives and ongoing strategic client relationships, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the client's operational landscape, competitive dynamics, brand aspirations, vision, and strategic direction. You will consistently lead efforts to uncover valuable insights, customer needs, and market opportunities that provide a competitive edge and drive business growth for our clients.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Utilizing a profound understanding of brand marketing to collaborate on the development of effective, innovative brand strategies across various channels.
  • Initiating discussions on brand strategy and subsequent market research efforts to identify market demands and capitalize on brand opportunities.
  • Exhibiting a strong passion for understanding people and the drive to extract essential customer and market insights that inform strategies and communications, altering perceptions and influencing behaviors to create a competitive advantage.
  • Possessing the ability and enthusiasm to think broadly across a spectrum of strategic opportunities, from launch planning to the evolution of established platforms.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and present integrated, innovative marketing solutions.
  • Establishing key performance indicators to support brand strategy and objectives, conducting analyses to assess program ROI, assisting in the creation of metric reports and dashboards, and making informed recommendations based on findings.
  • Crafting dynamic and engaging presentations that convey new ideas, engage audiences, and foster collaborative moments.
  • Producing clear and concise written materials (proposals, strategic rationales, case studies, discussion guides, etc.).
  • Staying informed on trends and innovations to influence integrated communication strategies (e.g., media, digital, research, etc.).
  • Providing thought leadership in research design, stimuli development, reporting, and traditional strategic deliverables (e.g., brand positioning, annual brand planning).
  • Leading and mentoring a team of strategists.
  • Collaborating with account leads to enhance agency presence and contributions.
  • Identifying opportunities to broaden the strategic scope and develop additional strategy deliverables and workshops.
  • Overseeing the development of pitch narratives and ensuring alignment with creative outputs.
  • Facilitating team ideation sessions and managing the development and reporting of strategy workshops.
  • Partnering with other strategic disciplines throughout client engagements.
  • Collaborating with external resources and other agency teams.
  • Engaging in internal strategic discussions to share insights and inform agency responses.
  • Assisting department leadership in shaping the strategic offering's direction.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a graduate degree in behavioral sciences, business marketing, or advertising is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, delivering tailored marketing solutions within a digital marketing, consulting, or advertising agency environment.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Oncology experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
