Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Vice President will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care through effective management of departmental functions and staffing, alongside strategic planning and budget oversight. Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing a strong clinical identity by implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and care quality.
  • Managing clinical practice variations to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness while promoting accountability.
  • Staying informed about benchmarks and accreditations, actively pursuing relevant achievements.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while developing appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Facilitating efficient patient flow and high-quality care through effective forecasting and planning.
  • Creating care coordination policies to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration to meet patient care needs effectively.
  • Directing nursing practices and unit operations to meet patient and family needs.
  • Leading initiatives to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

  • Collaborating with administrative teams and physicians to improve services and develop new offerings.
  • Participating in the annual budgeting process, monitoring performance, and addressing any discrepancies.
Qualifications Required:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of one year in a leadership role.
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
