Key Responsibilities and QualificationsThe Vice President will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused care through effective management of departmental functions and staffing, alongside strategic planning and budget oversight. Responsibilities include:
- Establishing a strong clinical identity by implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and care quality.
- Managing clinical practice variations to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness while promoting accountability.
- Staying informed about benchmarks and accreditations, actively pursuing relevant achievements.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while developing appropriate policies and procedures.
- Facilitating efficient patient flow and high-quality care through effective forecasting and planning.
- Creating care coordination policies to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration to meet patient care needs effectively.
- Directing nursing practices and unit operations to meet patient and family needs.
- Leading initiatives to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
- Inspiring a culture aligned with the organization's vision and values, ensuring staff feel valued and engaged.
- Collaborating with administrative teams and physicians to improve services and develop new offerings.
- Participating in the annual budgeting process, monitoring performance, and addressing any discrepancies.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Registered Nurse license.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of one year in a leadership role.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
