Position Summary:
The Vice President of Operations (VPO) reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital. This includes driving revenue growth, managing expenses, and ensuring the achievement of financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise daily operations across all departments, excluding Nursing.
2. Lead the development and administration of the facility's budget and policies.
3. Represent the organization at various professional and community events.
4. Collaborate with physicians to enhance recruitment and retention efforts.
5. Work alongside the CEO to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality accreditations.
6. Foster an environment conducive to attracting and retaining skilled healthcare professionals.
7. Analyze and implement performance improvement initiatives across the organization.
8. Assist in the planning of new services that contribute to profitable revenue streams.
9. Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality care.

Qualifications:
Education:
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution. A Master of Healthcare Administration or an MBA with a focus on Healthcare is required.

Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in a hospital setting, managing multiple departments within an acute care environment. Experience in physician relations or recruitment is essential.

Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and the community is required. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion is essential. Knowledge of technical and professional skills management, human resource management principles, labor relations, and hospital economics is necessary.
