Position Overview:
As a Senior Financial Analyst for the Americas at Vans, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our operations. Your contributions will help drive strategic decisions and enhance our financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
  • Assist in the analysis and presentation of financial outcomes and operational metrics for the Americas, providing valuable insights into overall business performance.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for quarterly Board meetings, showcasing the financial results of the Americas.
  • Promote best practices across all brands within the Americas.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to develop essential reporting for the region.
  • Facilitate communication of financial performance with the Corporate FP&A team and manage ad hoc requests.
  • Support Flash reporting initiatives for the Americas.
  • Analyze weekly Direct-to-Consumer business performance metrics.
  • Evaluate marketing return on investment within the region.
  • Coordinate with the Global reporting team on regional reporting matters.
  • Assist in approval processes for strategic investments, marketing personnel, and travel expenses.
  • Oversee the tracking and execution of the OGSTM for the Americas Finance team.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the financial and strategic objectives of the Americas Region, along with insights into Vans' current and future business strategies.
  • Analyze monthly cash flow results against expectations and investigate variances.
  • Support the Americas CFO in various group initiatives.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure alignment on management accounting practices and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you will need:
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a Fortune 500 publicly traded company.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Strong financial analysis and performance evaluation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, particularly in income statement and cash flow analysis.
  • Capability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Outstanding skills in Microsoft Office, including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and presentation software.
  • A collaborative spirit with the ability to thrive in a results-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to effectively present findings to management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Compensation Range:
$73,440.00 - $91,800.00 annually

Incentive Opportunities:
This position may qualify for additional compensation awards, including annual incentives or commissions, details of which will be discussed during the recruitment process.
