Job Overview

Expedient is expanding and is in search of a Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales to spearhead the sales operations in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

Candidates must reside in the Greater Boston region to be eligible for this role.

The RVP will primarily concentrate on achieving the revenue targets set for the region. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with substantial sales and leadership experience in IT services, cloud solutions, or infrastructure-as-a-service sectors. This role is crucial to our growth strategy and the ongoing success of the organization.

A successful RVP should demonstrate strong business insight, technical knowledge, an established network within the local market, and a proven track record in sales leadership that will be essential for nurturing our sales team in the Boston area.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of successful sales experience in IT solutions, particularly in cloud services, data center infrastructure, hardware, or managed services within the Boston market.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated success in leading sales teams.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Possess established contacts and existing business relationships relevant to the position.
  • Proven experience in accurately forecasting sales on a monthly and quarterly basis, along with developing comprehensive go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to understand and apply outcomes-based selling methodologies to develop the sales team effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Strong grasp of pipeline and sales funnel management principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Robust relationships with customers and partners in the regional market.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a high-performing sales team, including New Business Account Executives and Existing Client Advisors.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified sales candidates.
  • Create strategic performance plans for each team member and provide ongoing support to help them meet their targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to plan and execute account development strategies aimed at increasing sales and profitability.
  • Deliver precise sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

The compensation for this position is aligned with experience, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) range of approximately $275k to $325k annually.
