Position Overview:
Palo Alto Networks is in search of a seasoned Lead IT Business Solutions Analyst to enhance our exceptional IT business analysis team.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Lead IT Business Solutions Analyst focused on Product Initiatives, you will be tasked with evaluating business needs, developing functional specifications, crafting technology solutions, and managing communications with stakeholders.

This pivotal role emphasizes the analysis of cloud products and necessitates strategic collaboration with essential product management, engineering, and DevOps teams, along with significant business stakeholders.

Key Partnerships:
In addition to your advanced analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and innovative mindset, you will foster collaborations with IT Software Engineers, Product Managers, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Revenue, Sales, Sales Operations, Operations, and Global Customer Support to ensure that new offerings are comprehensive and provide a seamless experience for our customers and partners.

Essential Skills:
Strong leadership experience, a profound analytical background, and expertise in supporting the aforementioned business functions are vital for success in this demanding and fulfilling role. You will report directly to the Director of IT Product Management.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and documentation review.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to pinpoint areas for enhancement and opportunities for technological solutions.
- Convert business requirements into precise and detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases for IT projects.

Solution Design and Validation:
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, developers, and other IT teams to design and validate technology solutions that satisfy business requirements and adhere to architectural standards.

Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Partner with QA/QE functions to formulate and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to confirm system functionality, performance, and usability against business requirements; where applicable, collaborate with QA/QE to automate test cases for regression testing.
- Work with stakeholders to facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that technology solutions fulfill business expectations and quality benchmarks.
- Manage defect triage and resolution, working closely with development teams to address issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases.

Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management:
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, promoting effective communication, collaboration, and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business partners, comprehending their needs, priorities, and challenges to effectively advocate for technology solutions that enhance business value.
- Provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders, project teams, and management, emphasizing progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Direct the development and implementation of licensing models for hardware, VM, and cloud products.
