Role Responsibilities:
As a Seasonal Fruit Quality Assessor, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations relevant to the state.
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License to operate company vehicles.
  • Oversee crop volumes and fruit sizing across multiple ranches.
  • Catalog tree characteristics and growth for in-field fruit assessments.
  • Support the harvest sequence and guide harvest teams.
  • Learn and apply fruit sampling techniques for grading and maturity evaluation.
  • Assist in data entry and management of scientific resources.
  • Engage in frequent travel to and from various fields.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A comprehensive understanding of food safety laws specific to the state.
  • The ability to maintain a broad business perspective while being hands-on in task execution.
  • Strong organizational capabilities to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.
  • The capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Analytical skills to conduct assessments and communicate findings clearly.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle software.
