About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director to join our team at CAVA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the operational aspects of our business, driving growth and profitability, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize restaurant operations and achieve business targets.
  • Operational Excellence: Provide strategic direction and leadership to above restaurant leaders, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Performance Management: Monitor key performance metrics and financial targets, implementing action plans to achieve and exceed operational goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of food quality, service excellence, cleanliness, and adherence to brand standards across all restaurants.
  • Training and Development: Develop training programs and resources to enhance team capabilities in areas such as guest service, food preparation, and safety protocols.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability.
  • Expansion and Growth: Support new restaurant openings, remodels, and expansions, ensuring smooth transitions and successful launches.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive Operations leadership experience.
  • Experience leading, inspiring and developing high-performing leadership teams.
  • Experience reporting on weekly, monthly, and quarterly market performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure profitability and control costs managing a P&L.
  • Ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Requires knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn systems.
