Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Growth Director to join our team at The Oneil Search Group. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion in our market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Priorities

Work closely with our business development colleagues to develop and execute strategic priorities that drive growth and expansion in our market. This will involve identifying opportunities for growth, developing strategies to capitalize on these opportunities, and tracking and reporting on progress.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Collaborate with our Deputy CMO and Litigation Director to execute individual lawyer, litigation department, and firm business development and marketing objectives. This will involve working closely with these teams to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.

Identify and Maximize ROI on Business Development Activities

Work closely with our event professionals and other members of the business development department to identify and maximize ROI on targeted client and industry events, sponsorships, webinars, speaking engagements, and thought leadership opportunities.

Maintain Up-to-Date Business and Client Information

Ensure a structured approach for maintaining up-to-date business and client information, knowledge, and experience, including information for pitches that aligns with our existing processes.

Monitor Marketplace and Competitive Developments

Work closely with our embedded Analysis professionals and the firm's Competitive Intelligence team to monitor marketplace and competitive developments that impact existing and prospective clients, and quickly make recommendations that accurately reflect current U.S. regulatory, administrative, and judicial policies.

Optimize Directory and Survey Submissions

Optimize directory and survey submissions, and award opportunities to maximize our firm's visibility and reputation in the market.

Direct Marketing and Business Development Database Updates

Direct marketing and business development database updates, including practice and matter descriptions, website, biographies, mailing lists, and CRM.

Requirements
  • Strong Business Development Skills

You will have a proven track record of driving growth and expansion in a business development role.

Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills

You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
