We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at HEI Hotels & Resorts. Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Greet guests with a warm and welcoming smile, and provide assistance with arrival and departure from the hotel.
- Room Reservations: Process room reservations, including inputting and retrieving information from our computer system, and making accurate selections of rooms based on guest needs.
- Payment Processing: Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash, make change, and balance an assigned house bank.
- Communication: Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication, and input messages into the computer.
- Problem-Solving: Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop effective solutions and negotiate results.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, and college degree preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of Front Desk Agent experience preferred, with hotel experience a plus.
- Skills: Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, ability to stand and move throughout the front office, and ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
