Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in managing the front office operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting/exceeding financial goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with staff and guests to provide clear direction and resolve issues.
  • Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice.
  • Promptly complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from a computer system.
  • Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash, and balance an assigned house bank.
  • Promptly answer the telephone, input messages into the computer, and retrieve mail and packages for customers.
  • Remain calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for clerks and other associates.
  • Resolve customer complications and complaints by conducting thorough research and determining effective solutions.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
  • Three years of experience in customer service in hospitality or a similar industry.
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Basic mathematical skills and considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error.
  • Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and continuously perform behind the front desk.
